La Maison Dublin Website Redesign
A premium website redesign for La Maison Dublin, focused on elevating the restaurant’s online presence, improving user experience, and showcasing its French dining experience through a refined and modern digital design.
Redesigning the Online Presence of an Established Dublin Restaurant
La Maison is an established French restaurant in Dublin’s Creative Quarter, known for authentic French cuisine and a distinctive dining atmosphere.
Our relationship with La Maison actually began before the website project.
Advanced Solutions initially created an immersive 3D virtual tour for the restaurant, allowing potential guests to explore its interiors and private dining spaces online. Following the success of that project, La Maison returned to us when it was time to replace its existing website.
The objective was clear: create a modern restaurant website that better represented the quality and character customers experience when they visit La Maison in person.
Project Overview
The existing website was functional, but its design and structure no longer reflected La Maison’s position as an established restaurant in the heart of Dublin.
A complete website redesign gave us the opportunity to rethink the presentation, navigation and customer journey rather than simply refreshing individual pages.
The new website needed to showcase the food and restaurant atmosphere while also making everyday actions such as viewing menus, booking a table, exploring private dining options and purchasing vouchers straightforward.
It also needed a structure that could support future content and SEO growth.
The Challenge
Restaurant websites have several different audiences arriving with very different intentions.
Some visitors want to see the menu. Others are ready to reserve immediately. A corporate customer may be researching private dining, while someone planning a celebration may want to understand the restaurant layout before making an enquiry.
The previous website did not bring these different journeys together as effectively as it could.
Our challenge was to create a visually distinctive website without sacrificing usability, performance or the practical information customers need when choosing a restaurant.
Before and After: A Complete Website Transformation
The difference between the previous La Maison website and the redesigned version goes beyond visual styling.
We introduced a more considered structure, stronger imagery, clearer calls to action and a much more distinctive presentation of the restaurant. Important customer journeys such as menus, reservations, private dining and venue exploration became easier to access throughout the website.
The redesign also gave La Maison a stronger technical and content foundation for the SEO work that followed.

Designing Around the La Maison Experience
Rather than using a generic restaurant layout, the website was designed around La Maison’s individual character.
Photography, typography, colour and spacing work together to create a more refined digital experience, while the structure keeps essential information easy to access.
Premium Visual Presentation
Large restaurant and food imagery helps communicate the atmosphere and quality of La Maison before a visitor ever steps through the door.
Clear Customer Journeys
Menus, reservations, private dining, vouchers and contact information are positioned around the actions restaurant customers are most likely to take.
Responsive Website Design
The experience adapts across desktop, tablet and mobile, particularly important for customers searching for restaurants and making bookings while on the move.
Room for the Brand to Breathe
The redesign uses a more considered visual hierarchy rather than trying to place every piece of information above the fold.
We’ve had a really positive experience with Advanced Solutions across projects for both La Maison and La Vespa.
They created our virtual tour for La Maison, and later built our new website and managed the SEO. The whole process was smooth, everything was done quickly, and any changes we needed were always made very fast. The final website was exactly what we wanted, and it was very encouraging to see strong early results after launch.
When we opened La Vespa, we were more than happy to work with them again for our new website and SEO. Very professional and easy to deal with throughout.

Integrated Restaurant Booking System
Making a reservation is one of the highest-value actions on a restaurant website.
La Maison uses OpenTable, so rather than sending visitors through an awkward or disconnected booking journey, we integrated the reservation functionality into the website experience.
Booking opportunities appear at relevant points throughout the site, allowing someone to move naturally from discovering the restaurant or viewing a menu to selecting a table.
Integrated OpenTable Reservations
Customers can access the restaurant’s live reservation journey directly from the website.
Prominent Booking Calls to Action
Reservation options are positioned throughout key pages rather than being hidden behind a single navigation item.
Mobile-Friendly Booking
The booking journey remains accessible for the large number of customers researching restaurants from their phones.
Menus Designed for Real Restaurant Use
Menus are central to the La Maison website and needed to remain practical as well as visually consistent with the rest of the design.
The website accommodates multiple menu types including lunch, dinner, dessert, pre-theatre, drinks and wine menus.
This gives visitors a clearer understanding of the dining options available while allowing the restaurant’s current offering to remain accessible from one central menu area.
Private Dining and Group Enquiries
La Maison offers five distinct spaces suitable for private celebrations, corporate dining and group events, so these services needed more visibility within the redesigned website.
Dedicated content presents the spaces, menus and types of occasions La Maison can accommodate, while enquiry routes help turn interest into genuine leads.
The 3D virtual tour also becomes particularly useful here. Someone organising an event can explore the restaurant layout remotely before contacting the team.
Integrating the La Maison 3D Virtual Tour
The restaurant virtual tour we had previously created became a natural part of the new website.
Instead of existing as an isolated asset, visitors can discover the tour as part of the wider restaurant experience and explore dining rooms, private spaces and the restaurant’s layout interactively.
The tour has continued to generate engagement over time, reaching over 10,000 impressions, 8,600 visits and 6,700 unique visitors in the latest statistics featured in our case study.
For La Maison, the virtual tour demonstrates how an immersive asset can continue providing value long after the original scan is completed.
A Custom Music Player for Added Atmosphere
One of the more distinctive website features is the integrated music player.
It gives La Maison an additional way to carry some of the restaurant’s atmosphere into its online presentation while giving visitors control over whether they want to listen.
It is a small feature, but one that helps make the website feel specific to La Maison rather than another off-the-shelf restaurant website.
News and Content Publishing
The redesign also introduced a stronger platform for publishing restaurant news and useful content.
La Maison can use its news section for restaurant updates, culinary content, private dining information and other stories that would otherwise disappear quickly on social media.
This later became particularly important for SEO, providing a platform from which we could develop targeted content around relevant search topics.
Gift Vouchers and Additional Customer Journeys
The website also includes a dedicated voucher area, giving visitors another way to engage with La Maison beyond making a reservation.
Alongside bookings, private dining and enquiries, this means the website supports several commercially valuable customer journeys from a single platform.
Built with SEO Growth in Mind
The website redesign became the foundation for the next stage of our relationship with La Maison: full SEO optimisation.
We worked on the website’s search structure, content, on-page optimisation and wider organic visibility to help La Maison reach customers actively searching for restaurants and dining experiences in Dublin.
The results became significant enough to warrant a dedicated case study of their own.
Analytics featured in that case study show approximately 17,000 sessions from organic search and 10,000 active users from organic search, with Google organic shown as a leading acquisition source.
The full progression from virtual tour to redesign and SEO is covered in our La Maison restaurant digital presence case study.

From One Project to a Long-Term Digital Partnership
La Maison is a good example of how our relationships with clients often develop beyond a single service.
We initially worked together on the restaurant’s virtual tour. La Maison subsequently trusted Advanced Solutions with its full website redesign and then with ongoing SEO optimisation.
The client later chose us again for the website and SEO of La Vespa, reinforcing a relationship built over several different hospitality projects.
For us, the La Maison website is not simply a redesign. It became the centre of a much broader digital presence combining website design, immersive content, restaurant functionality and organic search.
Frequently Asked Questions
The relationship began with a Matterport 3D virtual tour and later developed into a complete restaurant website redesign and ongoing SEO strategy. The new website included improved content structure, menu presentation, OpenTable integration, private dining content, a news section, virtual tour integration and a custom music player that supports the restaurant’s Parisian atmosphere.
A restaurant website redesign should improve more than its appearance. It should make menus, reservations, opening information and contact details easier to access while creating clearer routes to private dining, events and other valuable services. It should also strengthen mobile usability, performance and the website’s foundation for SEO.
Yes. A restaurant does not need to replace a reservation platform that already works for the business. La Maison’s existing OpenTable system was integrated throughout the redesigned website, allowing customers to move naturally from viewing menus and restaurant information to making a reservation.
Yes. La Maison’s website accommodates separate lunch, dinner, dessert, pre-theatre, drinks and wine menus without overcrowding the main navigation. The structure allows menus and other restaurant content to be updated as dishes, prices and seasonal offerings change.
Private dining customers usually need more information than someone making a standard table reservation. A dedicated section can present room capacity, atmosphere, dining options, event suitability and enquiry details. Photography and a virtual tour can provide additional confidence by allowing organisers to understand the space before contacting the restaurant.
A restaurant virtual tour gives potential customers a more complete understanding of the venue’s atmosphere and layout. This is particularly useful for private dining, celebrations and group events. La Maison’s tour has continued attracting engagement over time, reaching more than 10,000 impressions and 8,600 visits.
Yes. A redesign provides an opportunity to improve page structure, content targeting, internal linking, technical performance and local search signals. Advanced Solutions continued working with La Maison on SEO after the new website launched. Website analytics show approximately 17,000 organic sessions and 10,000 active users from organic search.

La Maison’s website combines refined imagery, video, its virtual tour and a custom music player to create a more immersive introduction to the restaurant’s French character.
Yes. Advanced Solutions designs restaurant websites around the specific needs of hospitality businesses, including menu presentation, reservation integration, private dining, virtual tours, SEO and ongoing website support.
