What Makes This Different

A useful audit explains the problem, the impact and what to do next.

Automated tools can identify symptoms, but they do not understand your business priorities, customers or conversion paths. We investigate the context and separate critical issues from background noise.

01

What is wrong?

Each finding describes the issue in plain language with supporting evidence.

02

Why does it matter?

We connect the problem to visibility, usability, trust or customer action.

03

What should happen next?

Recommendations are prioritised so the most valuable work can start first.

SEO Audit Coverage

The complete search position reviewed in context.

The scope is adapted to the website and goals. A service business, restaurant, ecommerce store and multi-location organisation do not need identical audits.

01

Technical SEO

Crawling, indexing, sitemaps, redirects, canonicals, broken links, mobile and page experience.

02

Search visibility

Current queries, landing pages, impressions, clicks and indexing patterns where data is available.

03

Content and intent

Service coverage, duplicate topics, missing answers, page quality, metadata and headings.

04

Internal structure

Navigation, page hierarchy, internal linking, orphaned content and customer journeys.

05

Local SEO

Google Business Profile, location pages, reviews, business information and customer action paths.

06

Competitors and opportunities

How relevant competitors structure their visibility and where practical gaps may exist.

Sample Audit Findings

Detailed enough to guide action. Clear enough to share with a team.

Each finding identifies the issue, explains its practical impact and recommends a direction for improvement. Severity labels help distinguish urgent barriers from lower-priority opportunities.

Two Connected Audit Routes

Choose a focused SEO diagnosis or a wider website review.

SEO Audit

Focused on search visibility.

Best when the main concern is rankings, organic traffic, indexing, content coverage or local search.

  • Technical SEO and indexation
  • Keywords, content and search intent
  • Internal links and architecture
  • Local visibility and competitors
  • Prioritised SEO actions
Website Audit

A broader commercial and technical review.

Best when the website needs a complete inspection covering SEO alongside user experience and business performance.

  • Mobile usability and navigation
  • Enquiry, booking or ecommerce journeys
  • Trust, messaging and visual presentation
  • Technical, security and maintenance findings
  • SEO and conversion opportunities
Audit Process

Evidence gathered, findings prioritised, next steps made clear.

The audit is built manually around the website and the business question that prompted the review.

Confirm the objective

Understand the website, audience, locations, problems and valuable outcomes.

Collect evidence

Crawl, inspect, test and review available Search Console or Analytics data.

Investigate context

Check the issues manually and connect them to customer and search impact.

Deliver priorities

Present the findings in a clear report with recommended next actions.

SEO Audit FAQs

Questions before requesting an audit.

What is reviewed, what you receive and what happens next.

What is included in an SEO audit?
An SEO audit can cover technical health, crawling and indexing, search visibility, content, metadata, internal linking, website structure, local SEO, competitors and conversion journeys. The exact scope depends on the website and agreed audit level.
Is the audit generated automatically?
No. Specialist tools help collect evidence, but findings are checked and written manually. The report explains context and priorities rather than delivering an unfiltered error export.
Do I need to provide Analytics or Search Console access?
An audit can begin without it, but access can provide valuable evidence about queries, landing pages, indexing and customer behaviour. Read-only access is sufficient where data review is included.
Does the audit include implementation?
The audit and implementation are normally separated so the findings can define the correct work. Advanced Solutions can then implement agreed fixes or provide the report to your existing developer.
Should I choose an SEO audit or a full website audit?
Choose the SEO audit when organic visibility is the primary concern. Choose the Website Audit service when you want SEO reviewed alongside mobile usability, design, messaging, trust, technical condition and conversion journeys.
